l 3M has restructured its organization by forming seven businesses focused on markets and customers. Three new businesses with new leadership will be formed from existing divisions: safety, security and protection services business; display and graphics business and transportation business. Additional organization adjustments include moving Dyneon, performance materials and specialty materials manufacturing to the industrial business. The protective materials division has been moved to the consumer and office business sector.
